Listed ughs no longer get tickets

Two bots won all four ughs in the last draw. They buy the floor and put it back up for sale every few minutes. That no longer works.

    Changed

    • Listing costs you the ticket. An ugh you buy gives tickets only if you never list it for sale before the draw.
      Was
Bought during the cycle and still held at the draw.
      Now
Bought during the cycle, still held at the draw, and never listed in between.
    • Late buys don't count. The draw moment comes from a public block hash, so someone could spot it and buy in the few minutes before the Lab takes its snapshot. Anything bought after the moment now gets no tickets.

Why. We replayed the Sep 28 draw with these rules. Both bots end up with zero tickets, and the people who bought and held keep theirs.

  2. LabSite #

The Lab page shows every cycle

You can now see if and when the next draw comes, what the Lab holds, and what each cycle did.

    New

    • Next draw. Whether a draw is coming, when its window opens, and how long it has left, in your time.
    • This cycle. The Lab's wallet, ughs sold, fees and royalties that came in, and the ughs the Lab bought, updated every 15 minutes.
    • Every draw. The same numbers for each past cycle, plus who got which ugh, with links to check each one on chain.
    • This page. Every rule change from now on, with what it was and what it is now.

  3. Draws #

Draws wait until the Lab has an ugh

No more empty draws. If the fees haven't bought an ugh yet, the draw waits, and every buy keeps counting toward it.

    Changed

    • When a draw comes.
      Was
A random moment 22 to 25 hours after the last draw.
      Now
At least 24 hours after the last draw and only once the Lab holds an ugh, then a random moment within three hours.

Why. Some days the fees are too small to buy an ugh. A draw with nothing to give helps no one, so the tickets now carry on until there is something to win.

  4. Draws #

    The first draw

Eight ughs went to four wallets. Five wallets had tickets, and block hashes picked the moment and the winners.

  5. LabFees #

    The Lab is live

Fees now buy ughs off the floor, move them up a stage and give them away.

    New

    • Fees go to the Lab. Two thirds of the fees from $UGHS, $TEST and $UGH, and half of the ughs royalties. The last third of the token fees goes to the artist.
    • Buying. The cheapest ugh on the floor, at most one every ten minutes, and never more than 15% above the fair floor.
    • Stages. Every ugh the Lab buys moves up one stage: ugh, hugh, uhugh, guhugh.
    • Draws. Buy ughs or tokens and hold them, and you're in. Every floor price worth of ETH is one ticket.
    • Launch gift. Ten ughs to the ten biggest holders.

  6. Site #

    A new ughood.com

A darker home for the collection, the three tokens and everything that happens around them.

    New

    • Home. The collection, the three tokens with live prices, and one feed for sales, token buys and the Lab.
    • The Lab page. Type any ugh and see all four stages.
    • Token data from ughood.com. The collection's metadata now comes from this site, checked byte for byte against the IPFS originals for all 4,444.

    Removed

    • Split, Drop and Forge. These pages are retired.
